My father, Francis Taitt Sr. was a businessman. Whether he was running a restaurant or managing an apartment building, he ran every business he owned with integrity, and I paid attention. Over 40 years, my father built his name. His clients, employees, and customers respected him because he was honest, worked hard, and took care of his customers.
When my father started to buy and sell real estate around the Adirondacks, that’s when I got curious. I’d go onsite with him to remodel properties that he would restore to create better homes for local families. Each project we worked on was about quality and craftsmanship. No shortcuts. Then as a young man, I worked on various remodeling and construction projects to earn extra money. I really learned what it meant to work hard side-by-side with people who had been in the trade for decades. Every day I learned new techniques or strategies on the job to ensure the highest quality product. At the end of a project, I’d stop and look around. We left the space transformed, and I was proud to be part of it.
My dad and I made a great team, and our business saw many good years before he became ill. After dad passed, I took everything I learned and dedicated myself to carrying out our work.
Now, I’m married with two kids, and Lake City Restoration Inc. is still thriving with the same commitment to customer service, quality craftsmanship, and reliability.
Lake City Restoration cares about you as a customer. You deserve a great customer experience before, during, and after any remodeling project. It’s important that our clients feel at home in their own space during the time we’re working together. We’re committed to ensuring you have easy access to your home or business. As guests in your home, we know the importance of being kind, courteous, and professional.
We care deeply about honesty. We’re unique from other companies in that we’ll tell you upfront how long the project will take and how much it will cost. You won’t be left guessing or surprised. Before a project begins, we’ll discuss with you a realistic budget and timeline before the contract is signed.
We care about high-quality work that’s completed on time. Whether or not I’m directly working on a project, I visit every job site daily to ensure it’s running smoothly and the work being done is top-notch. Just as I learned from working with my dad, I believe in ongoing training with my crew. In addition to a strong work ethic, our crew is trained to keep to the timeline, work safely, and excel in craftsmanship. This is how our team stands out.
